Labellised as a national Pole of Competitiveness, AQUIMER's mission is to contribute to the competitivity of businesses by meeting their needs, by helping them to maintain and develop their activities through innovation and  technological improvements.

Its programmes focus on three themes:

• The promotion of fishing and aquaculture products and co-products
  The aim is to meet consumers' expectations by developing products with higher value added.



• The strengthening of company technicality and environment
  The Pole helps businesses to set up the tools necessary for the improvement of their environment (watch centre, water and energy saving, ...). It also implements initial and ongoing training suited to the needs of professionals.



• Improvement in sanitary safety
  Taking sanitary safety into account contributes undeniably to the development of production and reassures the consumer in his or her choices. For this reason, these issues constitute a priority for businesses.

Membership of AQUIMER allows you to:

• Benefit from the technical and administrative support of an an operational team who will accompany you in the building of your projects or the materialisation of your ideas  (from finding partners, to the building of funding application dossiers, drafting consortium agreements, technical, administrative and financial coordination, ...),
• Have access to funding dedicated to projects labellised by the Poles of Competitiveness,
• Integrate dynamics which promote bridge-building between businesses and centres of competency in the Pole's areas of competency,
• Have access to mutualised technological tools, to a collaborative platform and to the  Pole's Watch Centre (database available online , question and answer service, ...).
